Men’s Designer ($Open)

Our client designs Jr. funky, chic, unconventional and sophisticated Men’s clothing, and is presently looking for a designer for its' lines.

Your duties:

• Do research for trends
• Design a complete menswear line including knits coordinated sportswear and accessories
• Participate in choosing fabrics
• Follow tech packs with Fit Technician
• Q.C. pre-production and shipping samples
• Monitor the issue of P.O. and the communication with makers

Experience/Skills required:

• A very well organized person with good vision and great sense of fashion
• The combined skills in fashion designing and garment construction
• Knowledge of fit & specs of men's garments
• Experience in the import process
• To speak and write English and French
• Strong computer and communication skills are definite assets.
• Degree in design and Adobe illustrator are preferable.
