Traffic Manager ($ Open)

The right individual has a minimum of 8 years experience in similar position, and possesses:

• Strong interpersonal skills, commitment to create an environment that is conductive to excellent work.
• A competitive drive, and ability to work autonomously
• Demonstrated ability to assume leadership
• Excellent office technology skills

Responsibilities include the following:

• Coordination of the movement of goods and negotiation of rates with forwarders
• Knowledge about letters of credits and preparation of customer’s documents
• Communication with exporting countries and agent offices
• Management of the Traffic import/export department
• Coordinating custom orders with the shipping department

The successful candidate will utilize tracking reports to ensure all documentation is received, ensure master is received, and check shipping instructions against booking.

Knowledge of import document requirements USA and Canada is a must.
