Production Manager (Upto $60K salary)

Established client is shifting some production domestically for better control and speed of reaction to market conditions, is looking to add the above position.

Under the authority and supervision of the Owner, you will:

• Plan, organize, direct and control domestic production
• Negotiate prices and quality with Sub-Contractors
• Distribute work to sub-contractors
• Coordinate with Fit department, Grading, marking and QC;
• Run a quality control system and set up methods for producing production reports;
• Forge and maintain good relations with all sub-contractors
• Ensure the effective communication of information to all departments of the company;

Ideally, you should have the following qualifications:

• Ten years’ experience in a similar position;
• Experience in textiles and with all sewing machines;
• Organizational and planning skills;
• Independence and initiative;
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written);
• Tact and diplomacy;
• Good communication skills;
• Team-player;
• Knowledge of Word and Excel;
