Sr. Controller ($100K+) POSITION CLOSED

Established Importer is looking for a hands-on professional to perform the following:

- Develops and administers accounting policies to comply with generally accepted accounting principles and tax requirements

- Administers general accounting, cost accounting, and internal auditing

- Develops inventory control procedures affecting all warehouse Operations and supervises raw material, supply and production inventory accounting.

- Interprets operating results as they affect the financial aspects of the organization and makes specific recommendations which will result in cost reduction and profit improvement.

- Assumes responsibility for accounting of all expenditures and documents, including capital and others.

- Responsible for establishing internal accounting control policies and procedures.

- Directs the preparation of periodic and yearly financial statements, including yearend audit paper file.

- Assists the president in developing, interpreting and implementing policies and procedures

- Sets standards for the conduct of accounting work and the performance of reporting staff.

-  Performs other related duties as assigned by the president and ready to get involved in running the day to day operations of the company.

Required Expertise

- Minimum of 5 years in similar position

- Computer literate

- Import, Export and manufacturing experience
