Global Sourcing Director (Up to 100K)

Our client, an established apparel firm, is seeking an experienced director to secure foreign production with overseas factories, negotiate prices, monitor deliveries and ensure quality products are delivered on time.
The right individual has great management and organizational skills, resourceful and computer literate.

He/she is highly talented, conscientious, and hard working individual with the appropriate educational qualifications.

Understanding of overall ladies and men’s apparel speed to market and product requirements

Knowledgeable in product and fabric construction, fit and quality

Strong negotiating and costing skills and Creative problem solver with the ability to develop visionary solutions to complex business challenges

The key qualities we seek are: integrity, maturity, a totally customer focused outlook, excellent interpersonal skills, immaculate appearance, a pro-active approach, good sourcing skills and a winning attitude.

Tasks include:

Source new factories and countries

Source all type of items

Must know fabrics and trimmings very well

Must have experience working in Canada

Visit contractor factories and suppliers to evaluate capacity and quality

Prepare, monitor and schedule delivery plans allowing all departments executions
