Outerwear Garment Technician (Open)

Our client is an Importer, in continuous growth is looking for a highly experienced Technician.

You have solid knowledge of size spec, excellent ability to do fitting and alterations. Also, you understand the fits from junior to missy.

Duties:

1. Follow up for all fit samples, PP, prod, top samples
2. Analyze the fits and bring up any discrepancies in the fit
3. Organize fit meetings with team and owner if need be
4. Put all fit comments and spec in Excel grid to have it documented
5. Send comments to all factories and follow up for re-fit if necessary keeping in mind production schedule
6. Perform worksheets (Bill of material)
7. Follow up for all trims approval
8. Send patterns and worksheets to designated factories

The technician our client is seeking must possess leadership abilities along with a work experience.

Will be detail and customer service oriented

Will possess the ability to work well under deadline pressure as well as independently with little supervision

Must possess good computer skills (Excel is a must), communication and collaborative skills and familiar with the import business
