Main Duties:
1. Assist in pre-production approval
2. Process and update Purchase Orders
3. Follow up on orders and issues with vendors regarding deliveries, fit samples, missing information etc.
4. Sample management
5. Prepare buying reports for analysis (as required)
6. Support advertising and marketing administration
7. Answer general inquiries from vendors and store managers
8. Maintain positive relationship with buying, planning, vendors, warehouse and stores
9. Provide other administrative assistance to buyers

1. Minimum four years experience in a retail buying office
(previous experience in a ladieswear buyer support or assistant role will be considered an asset).
2. Post-secondary education in Fashion Design/Fashion Marketing/Fashion Buying
3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines with changing priorities
Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, organizational and communication skills
4. Fundamental understanding of retail and business math concepts
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, experience with JDA (AS400) an asset.
