In 2013, I plan on having at least one fashion photo-shoot a month or at least 12 fashions shoots in the year. Early January 2013, I teamed up with several Montreal artists and one beautiful model.

Cette semaine, j’ai été invitée au vernissage de la jeune artiste Fay Ninon, qui se déroulait au Times Supper Club dans notre magnifique Vieux-Port de Montréal. Lors de cette soirée animée par Angelo Cadet, Fay présentait en exclusivité sa collection de bijoux, une première exposition du genre pour cette artiste peintre. Elle a aussi profité de la soirée pour verser le tiers des recettes amassées à l’organisme Enfants Soleil qui vient en aide aux enfants dans le besoin.

Khala is young upcoming designer doing her best to create fashionable evening and cocktail dresses for her company Khalalelo Designs. Khala entered the fashion industry at only 18 years of age, designing for runway shows, creating her own alterations company, and designing outfits for her large network of clientele all while still attending school. She’s done many fashion shows and events in Montreal and is now branding out to other provinces (just recently showcased her line at an elite venue Tryst in Toronto).

She aims to continue her success in building her own company, branding out throughout the rest Canada, and to finally graduate from College Lasalle in early May 2012.

Montreal is home to most of Canada's finest designers, many still waiting to be discovered. I first encountered Brazen Design jewellery at the Blizzarts sale in December and was taken aback. This is quality handmade jewellery at its best; interesting designs that are as beautiful and inspiring as they are fun. We were lucky enough to catch up with the creator and self confessed maker of bling Rachel Rachna Dhawan. Voilà!
