Prepping for MFW23 with Help from Friends

Though I was not aware of Gina Brooke’s impressive credentials at the time, our own Jennifer Brodeur runs this clinique and arranged for me to get pampered. I trusted Jennifer enough to at least give this ‘Intraceutical’ layering treatment for the face a try. After all, the stars themselves seems to be swearing by it.

I must say I am impressed with the results of my one hour facial pamper fest. My face was indulged with lotions, serums, and a well deserved massage.

They said it was like a ‘Fresh glass of water for my face’ and I do believe it, especially 24 hrs after the treatment! My only regret is that I do not have clear before and after pictures to show you the results.

Well pleased with the benefits from my time at Bella clinique, I’m now having to decide on outfits to go for the 4 days (maybe 3, I’ll probably sit one out) of the upcoming fashion week.

Luckily for me, three of the finest designers from Montreal are styling me with their fabulous creations.

Being spoiled for choice is a challenge. Will be more so in the future, because we have more Montreal's finest fashion designers joining our exclusive store.

For this season, I have decided to follow Alexander McQueen’s tip:

I think the idea of mixing luxury and mass-market fashion is very modern — wearing head-to-toe designer has become a bit passé. 
It’s a new era in fashion — there are no rules. 
It’s all about the individual and personal style, wearing high-end, low-end, classic labels, and up-and-coming designers all together.

So I’ll be proudly wearing the above Montreal designers, incorporating my own sense of style into the mix. Some mass-market fashion, with exclusive creations, and perhaps even something from my cultural roots (India).

After all, you are what you FEEL. It's amazing that things have worked out so incredibly well thus far. What would we do without our friends, right?
