MFW19 Day 2 - Valerie Dumaine spring/summer 2011 - What a City Girl Wants

Semaine de Mode Montréal 19
My favourite show as of now, is Valerie Dumaine. Exactly the kind of clothes I would wear. You could almost feel the lightness of the fabrics, they just seemed to flow as the models walked. Really amazing to watch. The color palette was black, grays, whites & black’n’white stripes. Lots of flowy, short hemmed dresses, nothing too body hugging. Noticed a few feminine ruffles too. Exactly what women should wear in summer after they’ve hit the beach, got a beautiful tan and want to rock the city at night!

I liked how some outfits had simple white camisoles with either gray or black’n’white stripped skirts. So cute! No prints for this show. But everybody was left very impressed, judging from the after event buzz, out of Marche Bonsecours. Visit this talented designers website to find out more about her.
