The Romance and Style of Eternal Debauchery

This year’s edition marks the third masked soirée of Eyes Wide Open and if past years were any indicators, you better hurry up and reserve your spot now because these tickets are quickly becoming the hottest commodities on the local scene.

After giving us the chance to relive Marie-Antoinette’s decadence in 2008 and to bask in the sultry world of geishas in 2009, the EWO committee is now taking us to a world of darkness with Transangdanse. In addition to being pampered by the generous sponsors who continue to pull all the stops to make guests feel like divas on the road, attendees are in for the exaltation of the castrato Farinelli, the artistic sophistication of Madame de Pompadour, and the thirst, temptation, and vermillion kisses of Count Dracula.

And you just know this evening cannot go sour when you realize that it is designed by François Martin and Jean-François Bouchard of Cirque du Soleil, and Carolina Gallo La Flèche of Ogilvy Canada.
