Stylist's Own - Azamit with her 3rd Edition
| Current Trends |
Azamit was born in Eritrea and came to Montreal when she was fifteen. With a gorgeous face and model worthy body, she naturally gravitated toward the field of fashion. Modeling and designing were high on her list, but when she spotted a Stylist and saw what that job involved, she knew that’s what she wanted for a career. Well folks, Azamit followed her heart, and today she is one of Montreal's most in-demand stylists.

With access to exceptional fashion pieces, Azamit was often complimented and asked “Oh wow, where can I get me one of those?” Then two years ago, she had her lightbulb moment, and decided to make all that was obtainable to her, available to all those who craved those usually unattainable pieces.
Her business acumen, strong network connections and most important of all, her eye for fashion come together in the distinctive Stylist’s Own show. Every piece of clothing and accessory goes through her expert eye, and the result is a complete collection of must-haves for today’s fashionista.

Designers and brand names showcased include – American Retro, Colcci, Denis Gagnon, Energie, Gròa, Harakiri, Just B, Miss Sixty, Norwegian Wood, Pearls Before Swine, Phay, Travis Taddeo, Valerie Dumaine, Dimitri Chris and many more. One-of-a-kind and limited-edition pieces to boot!
For now the show is hosted only in Montreal, but Azamit keeps her heart and options open…Toronto, maybe NYC…who know what’s next.

It was a packed house, to the beat of DJ Frigid, with some of Montreal fashion's finest in attendance including the Denis Gagnon. And while I was at the cocktail, I also got a chance to meet up with some of Montreal's friendliest fashion bloggers; Joanna and Yussie of Montreal Fashion Minds, Patrick of Jesuislaristocrate and Duc, who also doubles as Montreals most prolific twitter personality (@duccnguyen). Now, my bad, I don’t have pic of all these fine folk…but intend to bump into them again sometime soon ;-). You know how to find them so do plug into their blogs and feeds.

All in all, a nice evening thanks to Azamit. Montrealers, make a beeline to the show that lasts only 3 days, at SUCO RESTO-LOUNGE
2108 Boulevard Saint-Laurent (Opus Hotel Montreal) details here.
